Hello, my name is Vicky, I am a self-taught artist based in Bruges Belgium, living in a wonderful home together with my groovy wife, two amazing dogs and two sweet kittens.

As a kid with imagination for days, reveling in the non-stop drawing, my art journey began.
In 2017 though, when my girlfriend gifted me a box for Christmas filled with art supplies, it was suddenly a huge step up from where I started and I felt free to explore all different types of art mediums: watercolor, mixed media, gouache, colored pencil, etc..

And I love all these types of media but out of all of them, my absolute truest love is oil paint - and acrylic paint in between (depends on my mood ;))

I want to keep exploring oil painting and discover as much as possible of all the secrets it holds.

My art style continues to evolve, but at its heart lies a profound connection between Nature, the Universe and Us. Through intricate symbolism, I explore human emotions, weaving together stories of resilience, transformation and the ethereal bond between the seen and unseen.
